Last night, I played hide and seek and Backgammon. And to my surprise, I won both games. One win could be attributed to my natural knack of squeezing into tight corners, but the other was a mixture of luck & mindset training.

This magical exercise (her words, not mine) was first given to her by one of her most influential mentors, Milton Glaser, one of the most celebrated graphic designers of our time. Over the course of a couple years, she modified the exercise and now gives it to her students as an essay prompt titled, “Your Ten-Year Plan for a Remarkable Life.”
It is a way for your higher self to communicate that there is a need that is not being met in your life. And it’s probably connected to one of Maslow’s Hierarchy of Needs.
